Question: How many numbers between 0 and 60 are divisible by 9?

Predict: I predict this question is a number question and solution.

Clarify: divisible number – numbers that are equally divided by another number.

Find the big picture: How many numbers between 0 and 60 can be divided equally by 9?

    Solution: Start by 0 and count by 9s. 0, 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90. However, the question only asks how many numbers BETWEEN 0 and 60, so not including 0, there are 6, and they are: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54.

Summary: The strategies I used were – break the problem into more manageable parts, Make a table or list. The answer is 6.
